Advisory Services for Professors

For newly appointed professors, we are happy to offer support in getting started in teaching at UZH. We also support experienced professors in further professionalization or innovation of their teaching. Topics include e.g., teaching in different teaching settings (e.g., research-based learning or problem-based learning), assessment design, new media in teaching or current challenges.

If you would like to receive direct feedback or ideas for further development of your teaching, we offer expert observation sessions with experts from Continuing Education in Higher Education. We will visit your course and give you detailed feedback afterwards.

To discuss challenges in teaching or other professional situations with colleagues in a structured and systematic way, we are happy to introduce you to the method of peer consultation. Peer consultation is a form of intervision conducted with peers who consult each other in a structured way about current challenges from their everyday professional life.
